Data revolution is transforming every aspects of our lives. We research every phases on Big Data in the search of question and answers contained in a massive volume of data, in order to create value to different areas of domains. We expect to impact the society as a whole by helping to improve the efficiency in the use of resources, as well as the people's quality of life.

Our research focuses on the data representation. This allows different machines to understand     its meaning. Specifically, our research involves ontology, web semantics, linked data, big data,     data mining, machine learning and data science. We highlight our strong connection to researchers     from aerospace institutes and industries. This includes INPE, EMBRAER, among others.
